The first thing you can expect when you come through our doors is that the person helping you is a runner. That is important because when you talk with us, we understand you. We know you come to us for expert advice and we take that trust seriously. Our expert knowledge comes from personal experience.  When we make a suggestion, it is based on understanding your needs, not because management asked us to push a product.

Next, our shoes are specifically chosen for their function rather than their fashion. We do not mind that they look cool, but we do not sell shoes by color. Because of this, we have the best possible selection of shoes that will work for your individual needs as a runner. Most people are amazed we have so many shoes that will work for them - and once in awhile the shoes may match your favorite shirt, too.

We will analyze your running form and evaluate needs in-person. Computers are fine and online guides are trendy, but we believe that hands-on, personal attention is the only way you will truly find the best fitting and best functioning shoe. At Movin Shoes, we will take you outside on real pavement/concrete surfaces to analyze your running form. This gives you the opportunity to compare each of the shoes in a real-world setting, able to feel for yourself the cushioning and stability each shoe offers.

When you come into one of our stores with a question or a specific need, we will know what you are talking about. Remember, we have been doing this for over 30 years. Maybe that perfect shoe you have been wearing for years suddenly changes, or perhaps you are not sure how many miles are left in your shoes, or maybe your last shoe just did not live up to your expectations. These situations, and so many more, can really become frustrating. And trying to get answers from someone who does not understand your frustration only serves to increase it. If you have had this experience, then you are really going to love us. Finding a current shoe similar in fit and feel to your old shoe, or finding a new shoe that is better than your last, or just letting you know that you might have a few more miles in your old pair is what we do better than anyone.
